Mr. Celeste,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe during WW II fighting the Germans as a member of the 26th Inf. Div-the YD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The Yankee Division saw continuous action from October 1944 through to VE Day in May 1945 in France, Belgium, Luxembourg(Battle of The Bulge), Germany and Czechoslavakia.

My sincere condolences to Jim's family. Jim made a positive difference in the lives of countless Boston youngsters. My first year teaching the students of Grade One at the Prince School was successful because of Jim's help. He created the
first school garden and insisted that every teacher and student help with it's care. The Prince won the prestigious "BackBay Association's
Best Garden" award because of Jim's skills. He was a true gentleman and
wonderful, caring teacher and may
God keep his soul safe and in peace.
