DEMPSEY, James F. Of Quincy, died October 14, 2024. James' life was centered around his loving family, especially his two cherished grandsons. He was a proud graduate of Northeastern University and earned his MBA from Suffolk University. His career spanned 40 years at Raytheon, where he worked as a Labor Relations Manager. James was blessed with a close-knit group of friends and found great joy in spending time with them-whether over coffee, breakfast, or while discussing and solving the world's problems. He is survived by his loving wife Maureen (Shaw) Dempsey of Quincy; son Michael Dempsey of Quincy; daughter Kara Lutner and son-in-law Sean Lutner, both of Norfolk. Cherished brother of Mark Dempsey of Weymouth. Proud Papa of of Henry and Will Lutner of Norfolk. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited greet the family during the Visiting Hours on Thursday, 4-8 PM, in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Quincy, at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
