I did not know James, but I know his father-in-law, Mark Kaplan. I am thinking of Mark and his family at this time and hope that they are all taking care of themselves and know that I care.

Jim was my investment advisor for many years. During that time we got to be friends, discussing family, raising kids and general life discussions. He was a crazy smart man and one of those genuinely nice people you meet. Always looked forward to talking to him.
I will miss him.
My sincere condolences to his family.
