Jim was a supportive colleague, a wonderful friend, and a consummate public servant. Gone too soon. May memories of happier times soon replace the grief we are all experiencing now, at the news of his passing.

There are so few people who leave a legacy that will continue to affect hundreds of people in the future. Jim did just that; the children and families of the Commonwealth will continue to reap the benefit of Jim´s work for generations to come.
I met Jim on his first case as a social worker and our friendship remained intact until his last day here on earth. I was always impressed by his kindness towards others.
My deepest sympathy to Jill and the entire Morton family, may his love for you give you comfort as you grieve. Thank you Jim for your friendship and your dedication to the Juvenile Court. May the angels greet you and May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

so very sorry to hear the news about Jim . Went to school with him , see him a bit when we both worked with the courts and was always better off for seeing him whenever we had the opportunity to bump in each other and catch up. Simply he was just a great great guy. God bless him. I´m very sorry for his loss for all of his family and close friends. May his memory always be a blessing.
