Jamie was an essential part of the Harvard Depository while I was its director, 1999-2010. His positive energy flowed outward to all. Jamie provided a model for the staff of the HD of proper and effective customer service. He will be missed by all.

Hi Folks, So sorry to hear about Jamie. He was a nice guy I got to work with from time to time, but my thoughts are with Elaine and the rest of Jamie's family in this tough time. Losing someone in such a tight family is never easy and I'll be thinking of you guys over the next few weeks.

Just a month or so ago, I gave you a ride when your truck was broken.As always you were still full of life. I don't think I have ever seen someone always so happy and smiling. You were such a great person. I hope you are there in spirit to guide Michelle and the kids. You are missed my friend.

My heart is absolutely broken right now as I just got this gutwrenching news.. I just saw Jamie the other day around the school and am so grateful that I had one last chance to say hello and hear his animated response. He was always full of life and he had a way of making you feel happier after you talked with him...I loved reconnecting with you both recently and having had the chance to see you out together while dining-- he was clearly crazy about you, Michelle,and am truly so heartbroken for you all... Many tears on your behalf, Stimpsons.. You will be in my prayers..

We are so, so sorry for your terrible loss. Jamie loved his family so much and you all were his whole life. I know that because he told us that many times when he came down to the marsh to fish. His days fishing were extra special when his dad joined him.
Keep his memory alive by remembering all the happy times you had together. Our love and prayers to you all.

Known Jamie since 1981, respectful toward me always ; a fun young man to be around and a great friend he was to many ! His smile will be missed around town, it sure will be ,and his physical presence painfully felt as well .It is hard to swallow such loss and undescribeable to express such devastating news from my part. I am so sorry. I have such fond memories of growing up on Burrill Terrace with Jamie. He was a great guy. Barney, Elaine, Danny, Michelle, and family- I am thinking of you and sending prayers. I wish I wasn't so far way so that I could come and pay my respects.

Oh Jamie, you were taken from us all too soon. My heart breaks for your family as it did for us when Billy was taken from us. You two will be fishing together now forever. Your spot in everyone's hearts can never be replaced. We will love you forever.

The consummate friend. We drifted apart after high school and went our own way but Jaime was always there with a hug, an I love you, and a firm and assuring handshake. I will miss you my friend...God Bless you, your wife, and your children....
