Our hearts go out to Ulla, Lenore and Howard. He was so kind an generous. He and Ulla made a beautiful Christmas Eve memory for my children when they were young. So many memories, and we will treasure them forever. Please accept our most sincere condolences.

Jim was so impressive in joining our group and having the know-how to spread the message about upcoming walks, which he helped lead, soon after joining us. I'm so sorry for our Treasurer Emeritus, Howard Winkler for the loss of his son, the most difficult kind of loss anyone ever has to bear, no matter the age. We at the MCA all feel his pain, and will miss Jim greatly.

James, I knew you from the time we were little children. Because of my own self-absorption and personal shortcomings I was never able to fully appreciate just how decent, pure, giving, and good-hearted was your nature. You were humble and loving, and God knows we need so much more of that now. I only hope you are in a place where what you brought to the lives of others is now bestowed upon you.

Howard and Lenore---We are so shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of your son. There are no words adequate to express the grief you must feel, and no words adequate to comfort you at this terrible time. Please know that we care and accept our deepest sympathy.
