She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Fred and Dorothy; and sister, Susan Kinney. She was a beautiful, kind soul and she is missed. Her birth, on July 26,1937, was a blessing to Fredrick J. Plume and Dorothy M. (Kritzer) Plume in Syracuse, NY. She grew up in Eastwood and attended The Convent School. Janet graduated from LeMoyne College in 1959. She then moved to Guam in 1960 to marry John E. Gieselman in a military service at the Catholic Church on the islands Naval base. They had two children, Laurel Anne Forsberg (Bob) and Scott Andrew Gieselman (Mia) and raised them in Weston, MA. They were married 55 years. Janet's biggest joy was her six grandchildren, Abby, Peter, David, Conor, Max and Rex. They were her pride and joy. After raising her children, Janet went to work for St. Julia's Parish, Weston, MA. She would later work for Blessed Pope John XXIII Seminary, where she was the first person everyone met when they entered the Seminary. She was a shining light for over 20 years there before retiring. She was a longtime volunteer for the Children's Museum in Boston and Belmont Hill School. Janet loved sewing, gardening, flower arranging and playing tennis. Visitation at the George F.
