On June 27, 2008 of Sykesville, MD. Beloved wife of the late John Jacobs. Devoted mother of Kathryn Shultz and her husband Leonard, and Huston Jacobs and his wife Pamela. Dear sister of the late Kathryn Hammer. Loving grandmother of David Shultz and his wife Lisa, Sarah Shultz and Andrew, Courtney and Ted Jacobs. Services & interment will be held in Massachusetts at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA. Arrangements by Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Sykesville, MD.

Our hearts and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Though we never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, we feel as if we have met her. She must have been an intelligent woman to have had the good Yankee common sense to appreciate a Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle. Her strength and independence will live on in her daughter, Kathy, and in the cherished memories of those whom she loved. Kathy and Lenny, we are thinking of you.
