Dear Warren, Gil, Susie and family,
Ruth and the kids and I are deeply saddened to hear of Jean's passing. She was and will be in our minds the life of the party. Between her and Grandpa Elmer, I learned what having a good sense of humor meant. As you know, she was also a kind and caring person.

Dear Warren and Family,
It was about 40 years ago that I,as a teenager, pulled weeds and spent weekends helping you and Jean get your arms around your beautiful gardens at your Winchester home. Jean's tuna sandwiches kept me going, pullin' those weeds. I shall always remember her joyful nature and that wonderful Gilbert kindness. My best wishes to you Warren and to your family.

Dear Warren, Gil and Susie,
We will always remember your mother fondly. She had a wild sense of humor and a laugh for everything. Last weekend I was cleaning out the last of my mother's papers and found Hawaii photos of Jean and Warren, and of mother and dad. It seems so long ago.
With our sympathy,
John Meserve
