Time has passed but Jean is not forgotten. So many times I think about Jean with a smile. I am reminded of her every time I see the Lenox swan sitting on my dresser she had given to me in appreciation for working with her on ANNA projects. Jean was a very thoughtful and special person.

Jean and I shared a love of birds and the sounds of the outdoors. She bought me a windchime and bird house during our tenure in ANNA. Everyday I hear and see Jean. We lost a trusted and generous friend.

Al, Trevor and Brett,
I met Jean at my first ANNA National Meeting and always felt her support as I moved through different leadership positions in ANNA. Serving on the Board when she was president was a highlight of my career. Our good natured Red Sox-Yankee rivalry and the games we attended together were great fun. I will miss her and only wish my new husband could have met and loved her as I did.

I am shocked to hear of Jean's death. She was always a vital force in the nephrology nursing community. I started my nephrology nursing career in Rhode Island and attended many ANNA functions where Jean was always there with advice, a smile, and support. I missed her in Las Vegas this year and had looked forward to seeing one of my old New England friends. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

To the family of Jean - I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jean's passing. I knew Jean only through the dialysis community and learned so much from her. She was well known and more importantly well liked by so many. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know the pain is tremendous now, but it will diminish with time. To the Nardini family: I am deeply saddened to hear of Jean's death. She was a great mentor to the nephrology nurses in the Northeast Region, and to me personally. She was a major force in encouraging me to become more involved in ANNA on a region, and national level. I also found her an exceptional friend who was always willing to open her heart and home to others in need. SHe will be always be remembered for that support.

I am so very sorry for you loss. I knew Jean from the dialysis unit I am a patient and I have known her since I was 12 years old. She was there to hold my hand when I was really sick or scared. She always made me laugh and make my treatment better. I will miss her like so many people will. She was a great nurse and a wonderful person all around. God Bless!

Jean was a legend in the renal community, yet she was always approachable and down to earth; willing to give her of her time and knowledge to so many! I was stunned to hear of the death of Jean Nardini. Although I did not personnally know Ms. Nardini I will miss her. I met her numerous times at ANNA meetings. She was an inspiration to me as I started and continued my life as a Nephrology Nurse. I will hold you in my prayers.

Children always have favorites when regarding their parents' friends. Mrs. Nardini was truly a favorite of mine. My memories of her as a child and more recently as an adult always bring a smile to my face. Her cheery spirit and hearty laugh were always a welcome occasion. I especially remember her dry wit which was always complemented by her incredible warmth. I am so saddened to hear of her passing and will always remember her with love and great respect. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Her life lost is truly heaven's gain. God bless with much love.

Al, we were so very saddened to receive news today about Jean's passing. Our hearts go out to you and your children for your great loss. She was a terrific woman --someone we will never forget. I remember how enthusiastic she was when she heard our daughter was going to become an RN. She is now a Nurse Practitioner. Jean had a lot of good advice. She will be greatly missed.
