Jeannette Convey Obituary

Died August 29, 2007 at The New England Home for the Deaf in Danvers, Massachusetts. She grew up in Lawrence, and graduated from The Beverly School for the Deaf. She married Michael E. Convey (deceased) of Brookline in 1937 and was a resident of Brookline for 61 years. She was a member of The International Ladies' Garment Union, The Boston Deaf Club and The International Catholic Deaf Association. She was predeceased by her son Walter. Survivors include her son Paul, daughter-in-law June, grandchildren Michele and Robert Hazelhurst, Joanne and Tom Hoffman, Mark and Tracie Convey, Michael and Michelle Convey, great-grandchildren Emma, Nathan, Colby, Sofie and Nolan. Visitation: September 4th (Tues) 8 AM to 10 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 5 Linden Place, Brookline, MA 02445 with a Funeral Mass following at 10 AM. I used to live in Brookline, the Conveys & I used to meet for breakfast or just for coffee at Martin Coffee Shop during the year of 60-70ish. They were always proud of their sons. I love Jeannette's cooking for dinner or a cake. She & Michael were a lovely couple that always walked around Brookline Village to shop for food, said hello to everyone. I was very glad to visit her at New England Home for the Deaf before I moved down to Florida. God rest her soul and to be with Michael in heaven. My deepest sympathy goes to Paul & Walter(deceased)'s family.
