I'd like to send my condolences to the entire Casey family. I worked with Jed for a few years and knew him as a real gentleman. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

I'm so saddened to hear of Jed's passing. He was so full of life; it's hard to believe. I worked with Jed for many years. We worked in a demanding industry and during times of high stress, tensions and long hours. Jed however made those crazy days bearable. He was always an ear to vent to. He always made time even when he had none. He never refused to help with any request. He was so funny, kind, compassionate and intelligent. He always defended the underdog. I remember one day in particular way back in the early days when I was rather new and didn't know Jed very well. We were in a meeting together and encountered a very arrogant and rude manager who nearly brought me to tears (which is very unlike me). Jed wasted no time in standing up for me and put this manger in his place. He followed up with me after the meeting to make sure I was ok and had the kindest words. He probably wouldn't have remember that day as I'm sure it was typical for him, but it meant a lot to me. He had a big heart. He always talked lovingly about his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

What sad news to hear about Jed's passing. Jed used our companies services for IT Business Consultants. He and I developed a business relationship over many years and I felt Jed was also a friend. A pleasure to work with. The consultants we had working for him always felt respected and valued and enjoyed working for him. Jed was a sweet man who will be sorely missed. My thoughts are with his family and all of his friends.

Dear Casey Family:
It is with a sad and heavy heart that I heard of Jed's passing. I always enjoyed running into him around town while doing errands or out at the UV or Doyle's or any excuse to get together with friends. We would play catch-up with what was going on in our lives and he was always good for a funny story, which were especially punctuated with his robust laugh.
Jed will be terribly missed by many and I wish peace for you.

To Jed's family - I was shocked and saddened to hear the news about Jed. I have worked with Jed for most of his 35 years in Financial Services, as a colleague, a client and a manager. He was a great man, wonderful to work with, incredibly knowledgeable about the Mutual Fund business and a good friend. He will be missed! Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sadness. Barbara

I had the pleasure of meeting Jed as a co-worker in 1995, and we worked together until 2012. He was a big man with a bigger heart, and his personality, sense of humor and strong sense of loyalty made him a great friend to many. I was lucky enough to be his partner in the company golf league and participate in many of the Casey Classics. Jed never met a golf shot he didn't like. The time spent together on the golf course created many memories and a lot of laughs, and they will not be forgotten. My condolences to the entire Casey family. Rest In Peace Jed.

It was a true pleasure to have known and worked with Jed for over 25 years. He was such a wonderful, caring and thoughtful person. Always easy to talk to and willing to help in any way he could. I remember with great fondness the time we spent at 440 Financial working closely together and a smile comes to my face when I recall the times we went out after work for drinks. We had such great laughs back then.

Even though we didn't work in the same group over the last 10 years, I still had the good fortune to be on some of the same projects. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was very fortunate to reconnect with Jed the summer of 2016 on the golf course with Bobby and Johnnie... We spent several rounds together this spring. I truly felt that i had found a friend after my 30 year absence from Easton. He made me feel that not a day had gone by.... I will miss him....

Jeddy you were a true original my friend. In the 20 or so years I've known you there wasn't a time I spent with you that wasn't filled with laughter and great times. And although I only saw you a handful of times each year, it always felt like it was much more often because the times were always so memorable. I'll never forget that laugh of yours and the ability you had to always make everyone around you feel good. For over 20 years, you've hosted the Casey Classic which was always the highlight of the golfing season, not for the golf but for the friendship. Golf in the Fall will never feel the same. My thoughts and prayers go to Gail and his kids who he always had a funny story about to share. You will be sorely missed.

Mr Casey, the word that sums up how I feel most is sad..very very sad. Your spirit and great personality touched so many people and we will all continue to feel your touch forever. It was such an honor to be your friend and share memories with you over the years. The one moment that comes to mind most is that of jalapeƱo poppers (hot!!). I'll miss you and will remember you fondly with each order. Rest peacefully my friend. XO

I am so sorry to hear of Jed's passing. I worked with Jed many years ago, but he's the kind of person that sticks in your memory. He was a real straight-shooter and funny as all get-out. When the work got crazy, Jed could always lighten the moment and the stress with his often off-beat sense of humor. I'm sure everyone who knew him has many stories to tell. He was a great guy who will be sorely missed.

Gail, Jed, Shannon and Shauna,
We count ourselves lucky to have known Jed and all of you for so many years. He was one of the nicest guys around; in recent years we got to know he better as he would come down to the beach with his grandson in tow; of course they were both beaming with huge smiles. His family meant everything to him. We will miss his smiling face and gentle tone. The beach won't be the same. May you find peace in the many wonderful memories you all have. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
Love,
Cathy and Dave

Jedrick my dear friend...I've known you since the late 90's working for the same firm while also becoming the best of friends. I will always cherish the wonderful times we had both at work and outside the office. Your big personality drew me in at first, but it was your loyalty and unwavering friendship that I will remember always. We enjoyed so many great times over the years, particularly all the golf trips down south and of course the annual "Casey Classic" golf weekend you hosted in NH. But it's the time we spent almost on a daily basis since 1999 that I will miss the most. RIP my friend.

Gail, Shauna, Shannon and Jed,

I'm left stunned with an empty spot in my heart by the news of Jed's passing. We had so many good times and made such great memories over the years in Stoughton, Easton, NH, etc. I'm so happy that Jed and I could get together for that night a couple weeks ago it meant so much to me to reconnect. We kidded that we met in our twenties and now we were in our sixties but still acting like a couple twenty-year old's. I'll always remember Jed as a smart, caring, funny and faithful friend. I know how much he loved his family and can't imagine what you are going through. Please know that Deb and I have you in our thoughts and prayers.

Jed was a humble and approachable person. He was full of knowledge always eager to share what he knew. I miss stopping by his office to ask him a question that would take him seconds to solve !
I wish his family all the strength as we cherish the great memories.

Words cannot express my sadness upon hearing of your passing. Through the decades wherein we worked, laughed, and enjoyed our time outside the workplace together. I will ALWAYS remember you as a kind, compassionate person who was a pleasure to be around. You enjoyed life and shared it with everyone around him.

The World will be a sadder place without you. Rest peacefully with God.

With Great Respect,

I only got to know Jed in the last couple of years thanks to Shannon falling in love with my brother. The few times I was with Jed, I knew he was a good man- great to be around & so welcoming. Jed will be sorely missed-always remembered, never forgotten.

Like many I am in total shock! I worked for Jed for about 8 years- one of the best bosses I ever had. He had a great work ethic and great (and sick) sense of humor! He loved talking about his family, New Hampshire, and of course golf! Just spoke with him no too long ago and was enjoying his "sabbatical" and being around his grandchildren.
Jed, you will truly be missed, you were so loved by many!!!
