Jennie Cognata Obituary

Of Medford, formerly of Boston's North End, September 30. Beloved wife of Geno Cognata. Devoted mother of Salvatore Cognata and his wife Paula of Billerica, Gus Cognata and his wife Maureen of Malden, Frances Ciampaglia and her husband Charles of Medford and Gene Cognata of Medford. Loving grandmother of Salvatore Jr. Meillisa, Kristen, Gus and Kevin Cognata, Lori Milovanovic, Andrea Graziano, and John Ciampaglia. Also survived by 1 great grandchild, 5 step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Dear sister of Antoinetta Graffeo of Medford and the late Mary DiPrizio, Frank, Peter, James, Joseph and Sam Taromino. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, MEDFORD Thursday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Square in Boston's North End at 9 AM. VISITATION WEDNESDAY AT 10 A.M. It has been requested the donations in Jennie's memory be sent to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, One Bullfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston MA 02114.
