Hey Lopez, i wish you could of gone to adam's party, that way i could of called you or wrote you an email. You taught me so much about life, you guided me through some tough times and became a part of my first family in the Marine Corps. you remember when we beat those iraqis in that soccer game inside the gym that had no lights?? that was fun, bro you were the best NCO any Marine, Senior or Junior would be proud of, and i know at this moment you would be proud of me, remember i kept telling you that i would never get promoted? well im a Sgt. now and i did it before my 4 years and i also got married. listen bro my thoughts, prayers, and love goes out to your family and loved ones everyday. I will miss you.

I find an old picture and see your smile as I feel your presence anew, I am filled with warmth and my heart rememnbers love. I read an old card sent many years ago during a time of turmoil and confusion.the soothing words written then still caress my spirit and bring peace. I remember who you used to be the laughter we shared and wonder what you become.where are you now, where did you go,when the body is left behind and the spirit is released? perhaps you are the morning bird singing joyfully at sunrise, or the butterfly tha dances so carelessly on the breeze or the rianbow of colors that brightens a stormy sky or the fingers of afternoon mist delicate reaching over the mountains or the final few rays of the setting sun lighten up the skies edging the clouds with magical glow.I miss your being but I feel your presence, in whatever form you choose to be.your spirit has become for me a guardian angel on high guiding, advising, and watching over me I remember you, you are with me and I am not afraid.

We love you.
Rest in peace.

from your Dad Napoleon Lopez, your brothers Cristian,Jimmy,Jonathan, Cristopher and the rest of the lopez family.
