SPENCER, Joan Age 88, of Upton and formerly of Wayland, died on June 17, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Albert H. Spencer and Bessie (Kingston) Spencer. Loving mother of Elizabeth "Liz" Spencer Cintolo and her husband, Thomas "Scott" Cintolo of Upton. Devoted grandmother of Thomas A.S. Cintolo of Upton. Sister of Linda Spencer of Lexington and the late Betty Lou Johnson. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. At Joan's request, all Services will be private for family only. In lieu of flowers, her family kindly suggests that gifts in her memory be sent to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or dana-farber.org/gift (as Joan beat cancer on six occasions during her life) or to Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, MA, 500 Legacy Farm North, Hopkinton, MA 01748.
