JOEL H. BECK

BECK, Joel H. 73, of Windward Lane, died Friday afternoon, March 16, 2012, at his residence, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Waltham, MA. He attended Waltham schools. He worked at Honeywell Corp. in Brighton, MA. He attended Northeastern University and Babson College, earning his Master's Degree. After a 35 year career at Honeywell, he retired to Kennebunk, ME and was a Professor at the University of Southern Maine Business School. He was predeceased by his first wife, Helen Jane (Castanino) Beck. Joel is survived by his wife, Donna M. DeSaulnier of Arundel; his daughter, Julie A. Beck and her husband Chris Mattoon of Somerville, MA; two step-sons, Daniel Fawcett and his wife Shealeigh of Santa Barbara, CA, and Christopher Fawcett of Santa Barbara, CA; two brothers, Peter Beck and his wife Elaine of Acton, ME, Carl Beck and his wife Judy of Framingham, MA; his sister, Harriet Rist and her husband Peter of Kennebunk; 3 grandchildren, Colton and Ila Fawcett of Santa Barbara, CA, William Mattoon of Somerville, MA.
