BARBAS, John S. Of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 2, 2012. Beloved husband of Mary C. (Triantafilou) Barbas. Devoted father of Steven J. Barbas and his wife Belinda, Charles J. Barbas and his wife Sheila, William J. Barbas and his wife Karyl, Gail J. Barbas, Edith Mantsavinos and her husband Charles, and Rev. Fr. Theodore J. Barbas and his wife Presbytera Daphne. Loving Papou of 15 grandchildren. Brother of Patricia Barbas and the late Nicholas Barbas. Brother in law of Janet Barbas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral Service on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at the Annunciation Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn, MA at 10 am. Visiting hours on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012 at the church from 3 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the above-named church or to the Metropolis of Boston Camp and Retreat Center, 162 Goddard Ave. Brookline, MA 02445. Late Veteran US Army.
