I was blessed to have known John when he was at the Franciscan Retreat Center in Andover. During these years, he was always warm and welcoming to the Handicapped Encounter Christ Community, who made weekend retreats there several times a year. The HEC Community will be ever grateful to John for his kindness to us and we will remember him in prayer as the angels sing him home to his gentle and loving God. May you be at Peace, John!

Donald and family please accept my sincere condolences for the passing of Fr. John. I had the opportunity to meet him several years ago while on a retreat. We chatted about the people of Mt. Carmel, my family's butcher shop and my beloved Aunt Connie.
