CARROLL, John L. WWII U.S. ARMY VETERAN Of Walpole, formerly of Wrentham and Canton, August 12, 2022, age 94. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine E. (Bowes) Carroll. Loving father of James L. Carroll and his wife, Lisa, of North Grafton, MA and the late Deborah B. Bramante of Bourne, MA. Cherished grandfather of Lindsay, Rebecca, and James. Sibling of William, Leonard, and Ruth Kidd. Predeceased by siblings, Bernard, Elizabeth Kampfhenkel, and Frederick. Survived by his longtime girlfriend Shirley Thoms. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend John's Life Celebration on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 4 to 7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, WALPOLE. John's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole, on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
