I just now saw that John had passed away and send my condolences to the family. I was a friend of his in High School and last saw him many years ago at a HS reunion. It was a delight to reacquaint myself with him. He was a big spirit and will surely be missed.

I knew John for the time we moved to Cox Road in Winchester, and John came into the Finamore family as a "bundle of joy" to Martha and John who preceded our family to Cox Road by a few months. Though we moved a couple of years later, we enjoyed a friendship with the Finamore family for a lifetime. We were blessed that they stayed connected for so many decades, and all generations, Martha and John, Linda and her family, grandmother Hazel, and "Johnny" as we first knew him. John had a recurrence of health problems recently, but we were confident that the care of Winchester and then Lahey Hospitals would overcome all of that. Or so I thought when I visited him a few days ago.
But it was not to be, and we are deeply saddened that he passed on. He was a true friend and we will miss him very much.
To Linda and her family, and to Martha we offer our deepest condolences.
