John was a soft spoken gentleman, with a kind heart and a gentle way about him. He was a distribution clerk at the Jamaica Plain Post Office for well-over three decades, and was the most beloved co-worker in our office! We were fortunate enough to spend time with him outside the office, with trips to his summer home, Fenway Park, to City Hall Plaza the first year the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl, office functions, house parties, and trips "up the line" to the employees favorite hangout, Costello's!
He will be truly missed by all his friends at the J.P. Post Office, past and present!
