Of Cambridge & Saugus, died suddenly in Florida. Beloved son of the late Thomas and Mary. Father of Erin Skillman of Rowley. Devoted brother of Marilyn and her husband Michael Polito of Lynnfield, Barbara and her husband George Blake of Medford, Claire Haskell of Woburn & the late Joanne Boudreau & Thomas Haskell Jr. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass. Ave, NORTH CAMBRIDGE, on Monday at 4 PM. Followed by a funeral service at 6:30 PM. Relatives & friends invited. It's a very sad day today Joey passed away and I am still so shocked. I will never understand why we have lost so many family members at such a young age? I feel like we are cursed. I hope some day this all makes sense? Please take care of him and tell him how badly I feel. I am sorry I didn't get to say good-bye! Happy Father's Day!
We were at my Mom's today for our annual Father's Day cook out and it wasn't the same without you. I think of you often.
I got my belly button re-pierced and wasn't sure what to get so I picked a Harley Davidson ring in memory of you. I think you would like it!

Hi Dad:

I was thinking of you and have been meaning to write more to you. The ministry that you were a part of conducted a beautiful memorial service on May 5th and fortunately, Craig and I were able to attend. Also, your grandson Cameron was with us; this was his first outing at 9 days old. Pastor Russ made a dedication of him to Jesus and sent us a very nice certificate. Throughout the ceremony and the day it was obvious that you have touched so many lives in a positive way and I am happy for that. I am glad that you had so many close friends that cared for you; you surrounded yourself with a great group of people. I have attached a photo of your grandson, Cameron Joseph. He is now 7 weeks old and doing well, letting us sleep almost 6 hours some nights! We love you and miss you. Love, Erin

Sorry I couldn't make your service yesterday but I am working for a not so nice boss. I wanted to be there. I went to my Mom's after and got to meet a few of you friends. A couple of them sat around the table telling stories about you. I met your grandson and he is very handsome. You would have been so proud. The weather has been so warm all the bikes are on the road. at Dad and Ma's gravesite..I hope

them...Pastor Russ gave a wonderful

service. Jill was able to make it

from Florida..Skip, Chris and Michelle and so many others on bikes I did not know..so many friends you would of been smiling

they made their final ride with you

to the cementary.

Hi Dad:

First of all, I miss you and truly wish that I could be telling you this in person. I think I've always missed you. Over the past few weeks, I have learned so much about you, the great guy that you became, and how you touched so many lives. I am glad to hear that you were doing so well and that you were enjoying life on the open road (literally!). Also, it is so wonderful to know that you cared about me as much as you did. You had some very old pictures of me as a kid and they were in mint condition.

I feel like I have so much to tell you that I don¡¦t even know where to begin! Well, I am 28 years old now (as you know!); I'm happily married and 37 weeks pregnant with your first grandson, Cameron Joseph. At this point in my pregnancy, I have had to stop wearing my wedding ring (swelling) and I now happily wear the beautiful blue star sapphire stone ring that you gave my mom, many years ago. Actually, I have to be honest; I lost the original and was so upset that I had one made to resemble it at the jewelers. I think I did that about 6 years ago. I think of you and mom every time I look at it ƒº I have finished my graduate degree, an MBA, and I work for the FDIC as a Bank Examiner. My husband Craig is the most loving and caring guy I've ever met, he is my true soul mate and life partner. I am very fortunate to have found him (and, in Canada no less!). He is a Carpenter for Local 218 in Medford and he recently completed his stewardship training.

Just wanted you to know Chickie and I met with Erin and Craig the other night. It seems she made a great choice in her marriage..He seems to be a real nice guy who really cares about her. You can relax and know that she will be taking care of. You would have been so proud of her. Erin went on to get her Masters and guess what?!, you would of been a grampy this May. It's too bad you are not here to share in the joy of your grandson. I'm sure you would have taught him life lessons and you would have spoiled him with love..and I know he would have plenty of Harley T shirts!!

To the family of John:

I am so sorry for your loss. I thought that you would like to know that my husband and I and TKO had a very nice visit with John about 3 weeks ago in Florida. He looked great, was really happy, and talked alot about his bike trip out west. We have done alot of riding with John and will always remember him.

The news was such a shock as we were just with him. We returned from Florida late this evening thinking that the services were being held on Tuesday. Sorry to learn that we missed them. Your family will be in our prayers.
