Grandfather of Thomas, Victoria, Ryan, Caroline and Emily. A Funeral Service will be held on Thurs., Nov. 11th at the Wickenden Chapel, Tabor Academy, Spring St., Marion at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Center Cemetery, North Hampton, NH at a later date. Visiting hours will be Wednesday at the Stott, Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, (Rt. 28), WAREHAM from 5-8 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund, William F. Council Golf House & Museum, 300 Arnold Palmer Blvd., Norton, MA 02766. Mary,

I just found out this weekend about Jack's passing. Please know that you and your family are in mine and Tracy's thoughts and prayers. You are such a strong Christian woman and I know your faith will carry you through this difficult time. Jack was a great guy and will be terribly missed by all who knew him. I hope to see you in Bermuda in April and am so glad I got to visit with you at Kittansett in September. Again, our deepest sympathy and you hang in there. Here's a big hug for you. Much love.

Mary - We are very sorry to hear about Jack. I did not know him well, but I did know him to be a very fine man - indeed, very gracious to me and my family.I heard from my Mother that Jack had been ill. I am so truly sorry to hear of Jack's death. I remember when we (you and I) first met at, I think, a chinese restaurant in Cambridge when you and Jack were dating!! Such a seemingly short time ago. He was a wonderful friend and a great guy. Again, my deepest sympathy.
