Dear Chuck and Doris,
I just learned of the passing of John. I am so sorry to hear. My condolences to you and the entire family. John was the person who got me interested in Law. He said he was going to teach me everything he knew and he did. I truly appreciate everything he has done for me. I have moved back to my home town of Montserrat and has often thought of him dearly. He will always be in my thoughts and I will never forget all he has done for me in my life. He was truly a gift from God.

To Chuck and the whole Kallis family, your dad was a true gentleman. He was someone I always enjoyed seeing and talking with. Most of our conversations were about the Red Sox or boxing and, of course all of you and his grandkids. My fondest memory of your dad was watching the Patriots win their first Super Bowl at Chuck's house. When the kick went through the uprights, we all jumped up in a cicle, surrounding your dad, everyone hugging and high fiving. A moment I'll never forget. Know that he is in a better place and watching all of you with the same pride as he always did.

Sorry to hear the news, though it brought back fond memories on Surry Lane. He'll be missed at spring training.
