I knew Brother John Kerr as Brother Lambertus when he was one of the six original brothers who founded the tradition of academic excellence at Xavier High School in Middletown, Ct. He taught Algebra I and l will always recall how he would exclaim, "fascinating" when we would arrive at the solution of an equation. For me, it was drudgery, but his good humor and patience made it bearable. He was a true gentleman and obvious intellectual who was destined for great things but he was one of the men who laid the bricks in the many traditions that made Xavier great. He was a truly "fascinating" man who was a spiritual model for all he encountered. Rest in peace you deserve that reward for your faith and service to your God.

Brother John Kerr was principal
during my years at Xavier HS in Middletown,CT. The school was still in its infancy. He was an exceptional administrator who surrounded himself with competent staff. Thanks to him it has become a superb Catholic institution to this day and its alumni make their mark in many fields and professions.
Thanks for all your hard work.

Bro. John Kerr flourished within the Xaverian Brothers Community. God bless him and may he rest in peace.
