I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Jack Killory. It has been many years since I last saw Jack and Adele in Brockton, but I remember that Jack was a proud father and grandfather.

Mr. Killory,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy aboard the Landing Ship Tank 833 during WW II in the Pacific. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The men who served on the LSTs were some of the unsung heroes of WW II-they were able to bring heavy equipment, vehicles, artillery and tanks right to the beach because of their amphibious capabilty and served in every American operation in WW II from July 1945 through to the end of the War.

I will always remember the great big smile Mr. Killory would always greet me with, his kindness and his blue eyes. He was a wonderful person and completely unselfish. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
