JOHN LENIHAN Obituary

LENIHAN, John F. Jr. Of Altamonte Springs, FL, formerly of Brighton, MA, age 83, passed away on July 22, 2021. He was born in Boston on June 27, 1938, the first son of Irish immigrants John and Delia (Brennan) Lenihan. He attended local schools and graduated from St. Mary High School in Waltham, MA.

John served his country honorably for several years in the U.S. Army and Central Intelligence Agency. Subsequently, he served as a communications officer in the Merchant Marines and retired after 20 years of service.

A longtime resident of Florida, he leaves behind his beloved wife Margarita of Altamonte Springs, FL. He is also survived by siblings, Thomas (Marilyn) of Avon, CT, Mary Dillon (Richard) of Scituate, MA, Sheila Snyder (Paul) of Newton, MA, Joseph of Brighton, MA and Richard (Jane) of Naples, FL. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins in the United States and Ireland.
