LENNON, John John A. Lennon, 88, of Groveland, passed away on April 29, 2023, at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation in Methuen. He was born in Somerville, MA on August 2, 1934, son of the late John and Mai (Morley) Lennon. John was educated at the St. John's Grammar School and graduated from St. John's High School in North Cambridge, class of 1952. John would go on to serve our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He would go on to receive an associate degree from Boston University. John worked for First National Stores, American Biltright, and was later self-employed in computers. John was predeceased by his wife, Jeaneene MacDonald, who passed away on June 3, 2018. He is survived by his loving sister, Mary Ashcroft of Derry, NH. Visiting Hours: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Calling Hours on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 9-10:30AM at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., HAVERHILL. His Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 110 Lincoln Ave., Haverhill. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Groveland.
