MOCCIA, John "Jake" Life long Revere Resident died on Sept 22. Beloved husband of 47 years to Josephine ( Gelardi). Devoted father of Joanne Bean and, her husband Jesse of CA. Paula MacDonald and her husband John of Revere. Loving Grandfather of Lauren, Thomas John & Adrianna. Dear brother of Annamay DiSalvo of Revere and the late Carmen, Teresa Lombardi, Nicholas, Clara Mottola. Jennie Moccia, Jackie DellaPorta, Anthony "Spudsie" and Ruth Cervera. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and the late Paula DiSalvo. Funeral from the Paul Buonfigilo & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St., REVERE on Thursday Sept 25th at 9:00 am. Funeral Mass in St Anthony's Church at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 'Today' 4-8 PM. Late US Army Combat Veteran, John dedicated his life to St Anthony's Church he was a 70 yr member St Anthony's Holy Name Society where he served as Marshall for 50 years. He was honored with the life time achievement award by the Holy Name Society, John was a Volunteer at St. Anthony's Novena, and was an original Eucharistic Minister.
