Today is John's birthday. I can't imagine how you, Bud and Diane, are feeling today. John was the most precious child and the most loving, smart and sensitive man. I love him and miss him. He was so lucky to have had all of you, who loved him so much. i was privileged to be his godmother. How kind of you to honor me in that way. My love to all of you.

JP was the brother I never had and shared with me the greatest gift a person could give of themselves, sincere friendship. I loved when we would reassure eachother that we were best friends, because of the distance, and I still go to pick my phone up and dial for our daily ride home from work. Missing him terribly and still talk to him during those rides. My constant thoughts and prayers to his family. All my love. -Shannon

"JP it feels like just yesterday we were having a glass of wine at your new home, talking about life, ideas on decoration, our families... I texted you and thought you didn't get back to me because you were visiting a friend that needed you. Little did I know...you were gone. I miss you! I'm so glad I met you and I was able to call you my friend. I will always remember you!"

To my dear friend John, I have been thinking over and over again for the last two days of all the memories we had together. I am very very sad and will miss you tremendously. You were the one close friend who has been in my life for 30 years and we have remained that way through so many phases of our lives. Words can not really be expressed, of how my heart truly feels about your passing but I love you kid and will deeply miss you so much! You are the friend that everyone should be fortunate to have and hug! You were always so kind, respectful, hilarious, quick witted, caring, compassionate, super intelligent, handsomely dressed, loyal, a good listener, and my shoulder to laugh and cry on! You were one in a million...I will pray for your family through this difficult time....Not to sound crazy but I will be chatting with you daily because I know you will be listening and we will have to catch up on a lot when we meet again!

You will always be my partner in our class superlatives.."most fun to be around" because you were the best!

Rest easy JP

Just found out about John. Brought back such wonderful and in John's case, hilarious memories, of our car-pool to OLA. He truly was a beautiful person. I am so very sorry for your loss. Sorry I didn't find out in time to attend the wake, but I will try to attend his funeral. He's up there giving God a lot to laugh at now. John, May you go with God....... your old car-pool driver Mrs. Walsh

I had the great pleasure of knowing your son many years ago. He was a treasured friend at a difficult time in my life. He always made me smile and tried to remind me of the fun things in life. I moved away to start my life over and unfortunately the distance separated us further than I would have liked, but I always kept his memory close to my heart. I was so sad to here of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this troubled time.
