JOHN POULAKIS Obituary

POULAKIS, John P. Age 73, of Medway, MA (formally of Medfield, MA), passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2022. Beloved Husband of Carol (Vouros) Poulakis for 51 years. Devoted father of Peter J. Poulakis and his wife Alees of Wyckoff, NJ, and Elena Poulakis of South Boston, MA. Cherished Papou of Georgie and Vanessa Poulakis. Loving brother of Arthur Poulakis and his Wife Joan. Also survived by many relatives and friends. John was the Vice President of Sales at Garber Brothers for over 43 years, before retiring in 2014. John enjoyed listening to Greek music, he played in the Greek Band Delphi V for 12 years. He always looked forward to his annual trip to Aruba, meeting up with family and friends. During recent years; John eagerly awaited spending time with his grandchildren, especially when taking them to the mall. John will be missed by many. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 11AM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown Street, Weston, MA. Visitation prior to the Service from 9:30AM to 11AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial to follow at The Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker St., West Roxbury, MA.
