JOHN SBRIZZA Obituary
Of Haverhill, formerly of Winthrop, August 23, 2013. Devoted father of Julie M. Buckley and her husband James of Danvers and Kristen A. Sbrizza and Scott Harris of Lynn. Former husband of Beverly McCarthy of Lynn. Cherished son of Louis J. Sbrizza Sr. and his wife Paulette of Rochester, NH, and the late Janice M. (McCormick) Sbrizza. Adored grandfather of Bryan, Kassandra, and Caylum Buckley. Dear brother of Gail Turner of Manchester, NH, Louis Sbrizza Jr. of Rochester, NH, Russell Sbrizza of Dover, NH, Joan Sbrizza of Peabody, and the late Janet Sbrizza. Loving friend of Audrey Xintaropoulos of MA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be missed by his grandkittens, Tegan and Riley. Visiting hours will be held at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., WINTHROP, on Tues., August 27 only, from 9-11 am. A Funeral Mass will follow in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited. Cremation and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Assn. of the Northeast, Waltham, MA 02451. John was a U. S. To the Sbrizza family - My deepest condolences. Close to the family some time ago and attendended Winthrop High with John. At least John left a legacy with what seems to be a "close knit" family who I'm sure will stay strong....together. Again, my deepest sympathies from the bottom of my heart.

I am so proud to be fathers he taught me many things about life most importantly taught me how to be me. Loosing him before he could see me accomplish so much more is deeply saddening. His pain is over, suffering ended, and now my favorite Navy man is the anchor to my soul. My father will be watching me, he will navigate me through this stormy life, he will help me reach my destinations unharmed. I love you dad, love your Darin "Stay Gold"
