To the Sbrizza Family. I just learned of this news when Anna and I was reminiscing about John and searched him. I am so sad I wasn't there for him. We both loved John and he will be in our hearts forever.

To the Sbrizza family - My deepest condolences. Close to the family some time ago and attendended Winthrop High with John. At least John left a legacy with what seems to be a "close knit" family who I'm sure will stay strong....together. Again, my deepest sympathies from the bottom of my heart.

I am so proud to be fathers he taught me many things about life most importantly taught me how to be me. Loosing him before he could see me accomplish so much more is deeply saddening. His pain is over, suffering ended, and now my favorite Navy man is the anchor to my soul. My father will be watching me, he will navigate me through this stormy life, he will help me reach my destinations unharmed. I love you dad, love your Darin "Stay Gold"
