I had the pleasure of working for John @ UKG for 14 years.
Needless to say that working relationship quickly became a friendship.
Rest in Peace my friend.
John had an innate ability for inclusiveness.
He enabled us to independently thrive yet build one of the best teams I have ever been a part of.
John was simply the best boss, leader & friend as we navigated our professional and personal journey.
I, along with many others, will miss you John Short.

I had the privilege of meeting John on one of my very first days at UKG almost 12 years ago. He instantly made me feel right at home, threw in a joke at my expense and made me feel like one of the team. I have always appreciated John's wit and his ability to connect with people no matter their role, and when in doubt, you could always count on John to lighten the mood. John was so very well loved by his team, his peers and his colleagues across UKG. He will be missed by so many!
Ann, sending you and your family much love and light during this time.

John was one of the very first people I met when I started at UKG 12 years ago. He welcomed me and made me feel like one of the team immediately. Over the years, I could always count on John to make sure everyone was having a good laugh, even if it was at his own expense. John was loved by everyone he met and he will be missed greatly. Ann, sending much love and light to you and John's family!

John was always a friend and mentor to those who knew him at work. He was always willing to help others and find ways to solve problems even during tough situations with a smile, joke, and kind words. He will truly be missed!

Ann, Gary, Greg - we are heartbroken over John´s leaving so suddenly and soon. Living next door to your wonderful family for 17 years was a special blessing for all of us Russells. We shared so many great times together, and John was a truly wonderful person to us all, and a truly special and joyful man. Praying for everyone now, he will be missed by us and leaves us with many wonderful, fun memories. Taken to heaven way too soon
