Some of the best shows I was in were with John. I can't stop remembering how ridiculous and how much fun was had just by dancing around a table. Though something like that may never happen again, the memory of that and all the rest will never disappear. Thank you, John.

John was a mentor to me and I will miss him soooo much. He was such a gentleman and he was very nice to all of the kids that were working in shows with him. He reminded me of my Grampy because they are both very kind and easy to talk to. I will miss him very very much. The stage will never be the same without him!

The world was definately a better place when John was with us. My memory of him that stands out the most is something he said to me when we were out with the cast of "A Christmas Carol" when John played the role of Scrooge. He was telling me about how happy his life really was because of his family. Most importantly, his wife. He said he fell in love with his wife all over again, everyday when he woke up and the love always grew stronger and stronger. He was a wonderful friend, a phenomenal actor and an outstanding wonderful person. I consider myself very lucky to have known John and to have learned so much from him. He will always be in my heart and I will never forget him. I loved him and he will always be a wonderful and positive influence on my life. My heart goes out to Johns family for this terrible loss. He will be greatly missed by so many!

Deepest sympathies to the St. Martin family. We are so sad to hear of his passing. We met John when he played Grandpa Joe in Willy Wonka in 2009 along side my son who was Charlie Bucket. It was a memorable show as they flew in the air together doing somersaults. John was a gentle soul who touched so many, and it was great to have had the opportunity to know him. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten in the theatre community.

Jillian and I were so saddened to hear of John's passing, truly shocked actually. John has been a friend for many years through the theater and has always offered a smile, and friendship. I remember when he had to swear during one of the first shows he did and it really bothered him. His demeanor at all times was light-hearted and kind. We will always remember him very fondly. He spoke so often of his granddaughter as the love of his life. I'm sure she will hear wonderful stories of the inspiring man John was.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. John was a wonderful gentleman, and such a pleasure to work with. My first experience acting was playing Bob Cratchit to John's Ebenizer Scrooge. I can not think of a better mentor or man to share the stage with. His mood was always upbeat, and he loved to chat about his granddaughter between scenes at rehearsals. Despite being one of the most joyful men I've ever known, his will always be the face I picture when I hear the words "Bah Humbug". He is loved and will be missed.

My deepest condolences to all family and friends. The cast of The Odd Couple (and all of RISE) were so saddened to hear of this. I am honored to have been on stage with him. It was truly a blessing. He had such an impact on all who came in contact with him. We will all miss him greatly. May peace be in your hearts.

I am devastated to hear of John's passing. I worked at Liberty Mutual for a long long time and I am proud to say that John was a delight to have as a co-worker. He truly loved his family. I have many memories of John which I will treasure always. My heart is breaking just thinking that John is gone. Life is so unfair.

To the St. Martin family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I directed John in A Christmas Carol in 2010, and he was always a delight to be around. I only knew him for four months but he was a beacon of light and a great man.

To the St. Martin Family,
My deepest condolences. I had the immense pleasure of working with John on A Christmas Carol at The Stadium Theatre. It was so amazing to watch in him light up the stage with his talent. His warmth and compassion towards others were constantly present in all of his actions. I feel so blessed to know that I was able to be even a small part of this mans life. May you be comforted in the fact that John touched so many lives and brought joy into the hearts of many. God bless you all.

Patty, Greg, Laura,& Will, words cannot express my deepest sympathy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. John was a mentor, role model, and not just a cousin, but a brother to me. His passing leaves a deep void and I will truly miss him, but I take comfort in knowing that he will continue to watch over us from above.
