We were completely surprised and saddened to learn of the passing of Joseph. Our time together was short but the memories will last an eternity...May the peace of the Lord be with Gail and the family always.

We were not there in person, but you have always been in our thoughts. Joe always loved being around his family and we are some of the lucky ones that were part of his "extended" family. He will always be part of us and his values rubbed off on all the kids at Sebec Lake. He always greeted the kids with a smile and that smile will help them in life. Thanks for being such a GREAT FRIEND.

A Giant has Fallen...Joseph Barrasso was a Family Man, Friend,
Uncle, Builder and Visionary..with a Love for people ......He was a servant and a very gifted man...Remmeber his promises God is Faithful. He is never surprised He is never perplexed. He is never out of control. Remeber what he said. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God. Isaiah 43:2-3a. We miss you Joseph your now in his possession,,,Frank P. Barrasso

Gail and Family,
Know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers all week. I found this and felt it was right...
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be,
so He put His arms around you and whispered
"come to Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you,
and saw you pass away,
although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts
to prove to us,
HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST!

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
