JOSEPH BRUNO Obituary

BRUNO, Joseph A. 93, of Boca Raton FL, formerly of Malden, October 24, 2013. Beloved husband for 70 years of Antoinette (Vermiglio) Bruno. Loving father of Joseph A. Bruno Jr., of Boca Raton FL and Jo-Ann Burnett of Dedham. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph Church on Monday, October 28th at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours omitted. Interment with Military Honors at Needham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Josephs name may be made to a charity of your choice. Joe attended Malden High School and Wentworth Institute. He was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army during World War II and was a recipient of the Presidential Naval Citation for his participation in the Guadalcanal Campaign. After the War, Joe worked as a hoisting and portable engineer and was a member of Local 4 for many years. He later was the National Fleet Manager for Minuteman Delivery Systems.
