Its still a bit strange not seeing that gold car parked under the tree or Grandpa in the lawn chair out front with Lucky and the Herald. Wednesdays don't have the same joy to them. It was almost a routine, to wake up, see some groceries on the counter, look outside and see Grandpa in the chair, talking to people who walked by. Castle Island and Newcomb Farms were common with Grandpa. We miss you Grandpa. Love ya.

Mr. Connor,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

When I dated Joe's youngest, Carol, I thought Joe was so intimidating, I couldn't have been more wrong. I've been married to Carol for 22 years and Joe was one of the kindest, gentlest, warmest people I ever met. You'll never be forgotten "papa Joe". You were the best!

For over 20 years I was lucky enough to have Joe as my father-in-law. It isn't possible to list all that he did for my family during that time. In my entire life, I've never met a more giving person. He gave everything he had to his family and those he loved and never asked for anything in return. You were the best Joe. RIP.
