Of Walpole, formerly of Dedham, Aug. 30, 2006. Beloved husband of Thelma M. (MacAulay) Gleason. Loving father of Kathleen P. of Dedham, Joseph H. of Dedham, Thomas W. of Norwood and John F. of Dedham. Dear friend of the mother of their children Margaret Mulhern of Westwood. Brother of Patricia Sheehan and her husband Joseph of Westwood, Geraldine McVaney of Atlanta, GA, Richard and his wife Mary Jo of Martha's Vineyard, Harold and his wife Jean of Millis and the late Thomas and his wife Geraldine of Medway. Grandfather of Christine, Joseph, USMC, Kayla, Kristen, Michael and Stephen. Also survived by 1 great granddaughter Chloe. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 11 AM in the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter St., Norwood. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 1 from 4-8 PM in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rte. 1A), NORWOOD. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Walpole. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church or to Caritas Norwood Hospital, 800 Washington St., Norwood, MA 02062. Late Serviceman, U.S. Army.
