I took a Math class with Prof Krebbs in 1964. I was thinking of him today and found out he passed 10 years ago. He was a friend of my Father, Prof Vicent Dunfey at BC. He made a remarkable difference in my Life. I switched to being a math major. Thanks Professor for being the friend I needed. Peace, Fred

He was the best teacher I ever had. I took calculus because it was a requirement and due to his great teaching I got straight As.
I liked him so much that I took advanced calculus the next year which was not a requirement and again got straight As.
I sometimes regret to this day that I did not change my major to math. Professor Krebs was awesome.

Just received my BC Magazine and saw the obituary for Prof. Krebs -- hands down, my favorite professor at BC. I took math classes that I did not need per se, but did so only because Prof. Krebs was the instructor.
My sincere condolences to Prof Krebs' family. May the road rise up to meet him.

My favorite math prof in the 1960's at Boston College. His animated lecture style drew students to his classes and made us fans--forever.

One of the nicest guys you would've ever met. Always greeted you with a smile and a handshake, no matter what. Served the country in the Navy for many years before becoming a well respected math professor at Boston College. He will be missed.
