Joe was one of the "good guys" in our Physics BC classmates. Always pleasant and caring. His girl friend and then wife for 55 years was always welcomed to our BC date gatherings. My memories of my classmate are always pleasant

My memory of Joe will always be that of a pleasant, friendly, calm and warm classmate at BC. I am sure he remembered by all of the Physics majors.

Dear Claire and Family,
Although it has been many years, Sharon & I remember you and Joe very fondly. Joe was a few years ahead of me at DTMB and had the unique quality that made everyone he worked with think of him as a good friend and colleague. Although he and his team always worked hard to get the job done, I can't recall ever hearing him say a bad word to or about anyone. He will be greatly missed, and his friendship and example will be passed to his many friends.
God Bless,
Fred & Sharon DeMetz
