One of the kindest women I have met in my lifetime she was kind to my children in a time when I was struggling. I will never forget her kindness for that and when my husband Mike passed away she was one of my favorite neighbors.

Dear Connors Family:
Our deepest condolences to all of you. If it were not for St. Therese's vigil, We would not have gotten to know Josie - and that would have been our loss. As I read through the entries tonight, one reads the same theme over and over: Josie was a loving, caring, compassion woman - so very very true. We had one lady attend our vigil who was a little down on her luck. Josie noticed the poor condition her shoes were in. The lady didn't know where to purchase another pair. That very day, Josie took this lady out to the store to buy her shoes (and probably more than one pair!). "Whatever you do unto my brother, that you do unto me." That was Josie, always doing for someone else. She will be missed by many relatives and friends.

Dear John: On the way home from the services this afternoon I could not help but reflect on the amount of relatives, friends, and acquaintances who came to pay their respects to you and your family. My Dear Friend Josie,
I am going to miss you very very much.
You brought The Kingdom of God on earth with the many lives you touched.
You told me about The Out of Body Experience you had when you had a heart attack. You was hovering over your body and you saw a Bright Light and a sense of Peace came over you. A Peace you couldn't describe.
As you looked down over your body, the doctors and nurses were working on you. Jack was saying "Josie don't leave me. Josie don't leave me." You woke up back in your body.
After this experience Josie, you told me you were not afraid to die.
May you experience that Peace my friend.
You have left a void here on earth but a new world has opened for you.
God be with you until we meet again.

Jack,Tim & John ~ so sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing 'Little JoJo' with me over the years. Her laughter, caring and concern for others is what I will remember most. When we see the brightest star, the whitest cloud or the most beautiful sunset we'll know it's our Jo watching over us. I know she'll be playing slot machines with my mom. Even though we were not blood related, she was like an aunt to me. I will miss Auntie Josie and all the amazing things and unconditional love she has given to so many people. She is an Angel!! We will all miss u!! My thoughts & prayers to the whole family..

I have known Pini for years, and spoke with her at Mass on Saturdays. There is not a more giving, humble, and pleasant person I have ever met. You will be missed by many. My prayers are with the family.

My one and only Aunt... You will be missed so much more than you even could of fathomed.
