D'ALLESANDRO, Joyce Anita (Bond) Age 78, of Winchester, passed peacefully on January 5, 2019, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Beloved wife of Paul E. D'Allesandro for over 55 years. Loving mother of Lisa M. (D'Allesandro) deMont and her husband Jonathan D. deMont of Arlington, MA, Paul E. D'Allesandro of Campton, NH, and Gina M. D'Allesandro of Winchester, MA. Cherished "Grammy" of Jon Henry deMont of Arlington. Survived by her brother, Richard W. Bond and his wife Caroline J. of Merrimack, NH; sister-in-law, Pauline R. D'Allesandro of Medford, MA; brother-in-law and sister-in- law, Senator Louis C. and Patricia A. D'Allesandro of Manchester, NH; as well as many loving nieces and a nephew. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Richard F. D'Allesandro and Henry M. D'Allesandro. Dear caregivers including her devoted niece Angela M. D'Allesandro, Sister Marietta Putzig, Darlene Suzor, Catherine McCarthy, and Patricia Killion. Joyce was born on July 20, 1940 in Dover, NH and graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1962 with a BA in English. Formerly a pubic high school teacher in Stoneham and Arlington, she spent most of her career as CEO of Crown Engineering Co. in East Boston, the family's mechanical contracting business and the proprietress of Sparkle Laundromat on Breed Street in East Boston. On Thursday, January 10, 2019, a brief visitation will take place from 10 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 11:15 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St., Arlington. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
