RINES, Katherine M. (Taylor) Of Newton, August 3, 2013. Beloved wife of the late James A. Rines. Devoted mother of Janice Dangelo of Natick, Kenneth A. and David J. Rines of Newton. Dear sister of Clara A. St. Germain of Newton and the late Charles J. Taylor. Loving grandmother of Kevin, Kerri and Keith, great grandmother of Cole, Harleigh, Brent, Caiden and Gwyneth. Funeral from the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), WEST NEWTON, Tuesday, August 6 at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard Church, West Newton at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment in Newton Cemetery. Remembrances may be made in Katherine's memory to the Hospice of the Good Shepard, 2042 Beacon St., Newton, MA 02462. We offer you our heartfelt sympathy. Kay was a wonderful "lunch mother" who took care of all the neighborhood children at Davis.
We hope the joyful, fun-filled memories of her will help to ease the pain of her passing.

You were truly an amazing, inspirational, woman who was a second mother to me growing up in the neighborhood. You opened your HEART, HOME, and gave of your generous HOSPITALITY to me for many years of which I will always be truly grateful!!!
