To The Stevenson Family,
We are sadden by the loss of Katie, she was a beautiful, loving young woman. We met
Katie through Patrick and over the years we had come to love her and think of her as one of the family. Every birthday celebration Katie and Patrick were always a part of, The last
three New Year's Eve's, we have all rang in the new year
together. I have known Patrick since he was in elementary school, He and my son Bobby, have remained best friends
throughout all these years. Patrick is a big part of our
family and i love him very much, i think of him as another son. He loved Katie very much and she loved him. She will be truly missed by all of us.

Your daughter was very special in many ways. last July
19, 2010, my dad passed away, Katie new my dad and she also knew how very much
he meant to me and my
children. We were devastated and to be honest, were lost,
Katie and Patrick came over as soon as they heard the news and never left our side
throughout the planning of his
wake and funeral, as well as
attending the wake each day
and the funeral and after. They brought us much love and much comfort. We could never have any two people more
special then the two of them.
My second son Dean, has
cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair, Katie always made it a point to go over to
say hello to Dean and talk to him. She and Patrick would
always come to celebrate his
birthday, They were both at his graduation and graduation party. She always put a smile on Dino's face, He loved Katie. Not many people take the time
out to say hello and to sit and
talk to Dino, maybe they think he does not understand or maybe they are afraid. That was not Katie, she was a very special person with a big heart. Dino will miss his friend Katie. my daughters Deana and Dominique loved Katie she was like a big sister to them, Everytime she would come over with Pat, they would automatically go into girl mode, whether it was the latest gossip, what they bought at the
mall, whatever it was they talked and laughed about it. i remember one Halloween when Katie took Sadie the dog with them trick or treating, she had Sadie dressed up as well as herself. i could go on and
on about stories of katie, Patrick, Bobby, Dino,Deana,
Dominique and the rest of the gang, but to wrap it all up, they
are all a great bunch of kids
who have a friendship most
people will never be fortunate enough to experience. They
all love each other and are a little family, now there is a big part of their family gone and no one will ever fill the void.
Katie was a blessing to all of us and we will miss her always.

May God Bless you and your
family during this difficult time
and always. Thank you for sharing Katie with us.
