To Ken Jr.,
I will always remember your Father Fondly. He always portrayed himself as the Proverbial Tough Man, but he also had a Tender Heart, that few got to really see. I was lucky enough to know both sides of your Father, whether it was the guy at the Pier, or the one on Wilson Avenue, or the guy at the Pier Grill, or the one at the European Restaurant on Saturday Night. I know it’s a cliche, but your Dad was a “Man among Men”.
I unfortunately, just happened upon his death notice today. I felt I had to leave a note about his passing, even though it was almost 5 Years ago.
I have been out of touch with many old friends, but I didn’t want you to think that I have forgotten what your Dad meant to me and so many others, whose lives he touched along the way. Whether it was just a brief encounter, or a long friendship, your Father was a man you would never forget.
My own Father had only met him once, but would bring up that occasion many times after.
My Condolences and My Sympathy to You, Shannon, Nancee & Your Mom Ann.

To the Halloran family, my deepest condolences. I went to Northeastern University with Kenny in the 1980's. I remember Kenny going to work with his dad down at the fish piers. My condolences Kenny. May God keep your dad close.

To Ken, your sisters and mom.
I will never forget this man you called dad. He taught a lot of us how to skate and love this sport called hockey. All my kids skated! He taught us passion and colorful language. He was a man to be look up to. He brought me to Bruins game way back when Orr and Espo played. We were in the high seats in the section you cant say the name anymore. The smoke filled garden. I was in awe and a bit scared hanging with the Halloran brothers. The only game I ever went to as a kid. Grateful. Karate Saturday mornings. Short lived. But fun. And always an adventure sitting in the back seat with Mr. Halloran driving. Scally cap on. Hats off to a life well lived. Thanks from this dadless kid that crossed his path many years ago who treated me well and gave me inspiration on many planes. Very sorry for your loss.

Mr. Halloran,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back in the Old Corps that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live to live up to. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
