KRAMER, Kirk Gone suddenly and much too soon 1955-2022 It occurred to me that I should think about this. When the unfathomable moment passes and the images Take on more than fragments of disbelief You start to think. For another moment, several moments, the need for order And understanding become a desperate search for safety. You need the story, the cold, really cold information: the facts. Not that it helps a God-damn. I mean here was a good person. A solidly good person. Gone. Poof. Just like that. If you are looking for justice, for right and wrong for fair and unfair You will not find it here. There must be something to do. To help. But there is only so much. And it is not as much as there should be. We all care, of course. Everyone cares: family, friends. Yet, why can we not do something That really matters? Well, here is what matters: We miss him. You miss him. I miss him. All of us miss him. Like crazy. That solidly good person who projects a solidly good image. He, as a person, is what I miss And will remember.
