Paige (and family) - I just heard about your father. I'm so very sorry for your loss. It does get easier, but a day doesn't go by that I don't still think about my father who passed late 2005. You, your mom, and your sisters are in my thoughts and prayers. With warm regards,

Dear Ferry Family,

Please accept my sympathies on the death of Wayne. I knew him in grade school, first at St. Elizabeth and then at Our Mother of Sorrows where we graduated from 8th grade in 1949. Because Wayne and his family lived on the next street and because he was just about the only boy on our two streets near my age, my brothers took it upon themselves to tease me about Wayne every chance they got. I wonder if Wayne ever knew about that.

By my senior year I knew I was going to enter the convent after graduation, so I had no boy friend. Still, I wanted to go the prom because my best friends were going. I asked Wayne to be my date and he accepted. I had a buttoniere for him; he left the artifical green carnation that probably came with his white jacket on our piano top for the evening. He had brought me a purple-throated white orchid which I wore on my wrist--according to the fashion of the day. Thanks to Wayne, I was able to go enjoy a prom experience, and I will always be thankful to him for that.

I hope I have not bored you by going on at such length, but he may never have included this episode in his old-time stories, and I wanted to share a story about his kindness with you.

May you find comfort in all the stories you will tell and retell about him, and may God bless you with peace.

Sincerely yours,
Sister Marilyn Mueller

Cousin Carol, Paiger, Trac, Leigh:

Your family will always hold incredible memories for me - you always made me feel like I was a daughter or a sister!
I am sorry about Wayne/Dad - he was so much fun to be around and always always made me laugh!
Remember the great memories we were all lucky to share with him - I will not every forget "wonderful wayne-o"! EVER.
He had a full life - he walked each of you down the aisle to either marry or marry off - he was there to see all of his grandchildren :)
May the memories keep you warm - because he would not want you to be sad!
With all my love, I miss you guys so much - but treasure the times we got to spend together!
~Valerie
