The Pinkos Family.
I know where your heart is particularly now...with your precious Laura. Is is not difficult to remember such a dear girl. Mrs. Gaskill once in a while will speak of her when we were able to lunch with you three at the museum. Think of you and our wonderful experiences overseas. With fond thoughts of all of you, Susan Gaskill

Think of past years and memories of you, of your family, our engagement with you and your children. Of course, always memories of Shuri Hills, a visit to the Potomac River and to the Jersey Shore, what fun, your visit with Laura on the way to Charlotte, our magical trip to Alaska and fishing, our wonderful visit with you and your delightful Laura another special day and lunch at the Museum...all wonderful memories of special moments of time...and they are all thought of with fondness. Consider myself blessed especially to have gotten to know your special Laura in the later visits. You raised & supported a special daughter!

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Pinkos and Alex,
I am so sorry for your loss! Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families during this difficult time and always. Laura was a ray of sunshine!! I feel so fortunate that the "northern girl" graced us with her friendship as she came to Georgia and touched so many lives in such a positive way! She is a role model for each of us in the way we should live our lives personally and professionally. She always put others first and never seemed to meet a stranger. As long as I have known Laura she always expressed her pride and love for her mom and dad and family. Alex, you brought her strength and unconditional love throughout your time together. I deeply respect you and your unselfishness! Laura will be in our hearts forever and I know she will be an angel watching over her family and friends.
May God keep you close during this most difficult time, Lauren Duty

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
