DUFFY, Lawrence A. "Larry"
Of Chelsea, on July 5th. Late Vietnam US Air Force Veteran. Devoted son of the late Lawrence and Beatrice Duffy. Devoted Father of Renea Banks of Kansas. Devoted brother of Dianne Cady of Saugus, Robert Duffy and his wife Amalia of CT, Kathleen Campbell and partner, Steve Viviano of Revere, Marie Duffy and partner, Tony Meads of Salem, Arlene Ellard of Everett, and the late Arthur and Stephen Duffy. Devoted Uncle of Lauren, Karen, Robbie, Toni, Barry, Darren. Dear Great Uncle of Michael, Barry, Addy, Jayden, Dario, and Dante. Larry lived his life helping others and loved his family and friends deeply. As a boy, he was an equipment manager for the Red Sox. After serving in the Air Force he worked at the Chelsea Naval Shipyard. He was a bartender at the Sagamore Club in Chelsea for over 20 years. His viewing will be held at Anthony Memorial Funeral Home, 157 Washington Ave., CHELSEA, on Monday, July 11th from 5-8 pm and on Tuesday morning at 9:30 followed by a Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea at 10:30 am. Interment will be private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, in Bourne, MA.
