KOOTZ, Lawrence "Larry" Army Veteran and member Local 22 Of East Boston, peacefully with his loving family by his bedside on Sept 27. Loving companion of the late Patty Rossetti, former husband of Linda Brennan of East Boston, and Dorothea Lucier. Devoted father of Dorothea Cintolo of East Boston, Lauren Kootz of Fl., and Lawrence P. Kootz of Billerica. Dear brother of the late Elizabeth Sicari , Frank and Pasquale Scopa. Cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren and the late Robbie and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Larry's life by gathering in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Friday from 4-8, and again on Saturday morning at 8:AM before leaving in procession to St Joseph St Lazarus Church, East Boston, for a funeral mass in celebration of Larry's life at 10AM. Services will conclude with Larry being laid to rest with Military honors in the Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery.
